The Glyderau mountain range offers some of the most majestic and inspiring routes in Snowdonia, stretching from Mynydd Llandegai to Capel Curig. Five of Wales' fourteen highest summits can be found here, including Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Y Garn, Elidir Fawr, and Tryfan. The range is very popular with walkers and climbers, with Tryfan being one of the finest mountains in Wales, requiring scrambling to reach the summit. The slopes of the Glyderau also include the lake Llyn Idwal, a National Nature Reserve with unusual sub-alpine, sub-arctic flora. The area is great for families who enjoy hiking and nature, with plenty of scenic routes and stunning views
