What to expect

Dolbadarn Castle, also known as Castell Dolbadarn, is a fortification built by the Welsh prince Llywelyn the Great during the early 13th century. The castle features a large stone keep and is considered one of the finest surviving examples of a Welsh round tower. It was an important military location and a symbol of Llywelyn's power and authority. The castle is now owned by Cadw and is protected as a grade I listed building.
