The building has been restored and furnished to reflect the social history of the area, with open fires, period decoration, and furniture. Visitors can explore the house and learn about the fascinating lives of its former residents, including merchants, lawyers, and even a minister who played a role in a witch trial. The ground floor features an arcade frontage and a reconstructed shop booth, complete with replicas of 17th-century goods. The building also has a coffee shop and ice cream parlour, making it a great place to visit with family
