The attraction features famous characters from York's dark past, including Vikings, Isabella Billington, and Guy Fawkes. The York Dungeon also offers an adults-only tour, Dungeon Lates, which is available on Saturdays and features more scares, saucy banter, and cheekier jokes. The attraction is suitable for children aged 5 and over, but it's not recommended for under 8's.
