The D-Day Story is a museum that tells the story of Operation Overlord during the Normandy D-Day landings. The museum includes access to Landing Craft Tank 7074, the last surviving LCT to take part in the Normandy campaign, where visitors can explore the tank deck, upper deck, and bridge deck. The museum also features the stunning 83-metre Overlord Embroidery, which was created to commemorate those who took part on D-Day. The museum is accessible to disabled visitors, with facilities including disabled parking, toilets, and an induction loop system. Audio guides are available in English and other languages. The museum also has a cafe and a shop selling gifts and souvenirs. Families can enjoy interactive exhibits and learn about the history of D-Day through personal accounts and objects from the museum's collection
