What to expect

Aira Force is a waterfall in the English Lake District, showcasing the power and beauty of nature. The waterfall is surrounded by a network of woodland trails, quiet glades, and dramatic scenery. Visitors can weave their way through the trails to where Aira Beck thunders in one 65-foot drop past fern and rock into the pool below. The site is home to red squirrels and offers panoramic views over Ullswater. There is a natural play area for kids, and the Aira Force tea-room serves tasty treats and refreshing drinks. Dogs are welcome, and there are water bowls available. The area is steep and rugged, but there are graded paths and viewing platforms to make it accessible to visitors
