What to expect

The Pattern Pod is a multi-sensory area where children can learn through play to develop their science skills. It features interactive exhibits that encourage children to recognize and copy patterns, or create entirely new ones of their own. The area includes exhibits such as Touch Patterns, Print Patterns, Spiral and Hexagon Pattern Areas, Bodily Patterns, Tiling Patterns, Movement Patterns, Symmetry Patterns, Ripple Patterns, Night and Day Patterns, and Growing Patterns. These exhibits allow children to explore patterns in different ways, including visual, sound, time, movement, and texture patterns. The Pattern Pod is suitable for children under nine years old and their parents and carers, making it a great place to visit with family
