What to expect

St James's Park is a 23-hectare urban park in the City of Westminster, central London. It is bounded by Buckingham Palace to the west, The Mall to the north, Horse Guards to the east, and Birdcage Walk to the south. The park has a small lake, St James's Park Lake, with two islands, West Island and Duck Island, and a resident colony of pelicans. The park is home to various landmarks, including the Blue Bridge, the Swire Fountain, and the Tiffany Fountain. It also features a children's playground, a large sandpit, and a variety of tree species, including London planes, Scarlet oak, and black mulberry. The park is Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering a peaceful escape from the city and stunning views of the surrounding area
