Lisle Street is a street in the heart of London, built in two parts. The western half was laid out in 1682-3, and the eastern half was extended in 1791 or 1792. The street has a rich history, with various occupants, including the Right Honourable Lady 'Darkey' and Lord William Paulet. The street is also home to the Falcon Public House, which has been in operation since the early 18th century. Additionally, the street has been associated with several artists, including Edward Francis Burney and Nicholas Toussaint Charlet.
