What to expect

Dalegarth is the eastern terminus of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, a 15-inch gauge railway in the English county of Cumbria. The station has a café and shop for passengers, along with a run-round loop, turntable, and siding for trains. It is situated near the village of Boot in the civil parish of Eskdale and the Lake District National Park. The station is a great starting point for walks, including the Eskdale Trail, and is close to the village of Boot, which is home to the Eskdale Mill and two pubs. The Fellbites Cafe at the station serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and grab-and-go packed lunches, and the Scafell Gift Shop offers a wide range of railway souvenirs and general giftware
