What to expect

HMS Alliance is a Royal Navy A-class submarine, and the only surviving example of its class. The submarine is now a museum ship and memorial, showcasing the life and challenges of submariners who served on board. Visitors can explore the decks and narrow corridors, look through the original periscope, and hear the stories of those who served onboard. The submarine features a collection of artefacts, documents, and photographs, as well as interactive exhibits, making it a great place to visit with family and friends. The Royal Navy Submarine Museum, where HMS Alliance is located, also offers other exhibits and activities, including the Silent and Secret exhibition, which tells the story of the Royal Navy's at-sea nuclear deterrent
