What to expect
Pensthorpe Natural Park is a 700-acre nature reserve with a focus on inspiring the next generation to enjoy wildlife and the great outdoors. The park features woodland walks, nature trails, lakes, and various habitats teaming with wildlife, including wetlands, woodlands, farmland, and grassland. Visitors can explore five stunning gardens, encounter a flock of flamingos, and feed ducks. The park also offers a courtyard cafe serving home-cooked food and a large shop with unique gifts and local produce. Families can enjoy the outdoor adventure play area, WildRootz, and the indoor play area, Hootz House, which features soft play for under 5s. During school holidays, hands-on activities such as wildlife spotting, pond dipping, den building, and nature-inspired crafts are available

A Day Out At Pensthorpe Natural Park
Activities: We had a really nice family day out at Pensthorpe Natural Park. We explored 700 acres of land and 4 miles of trails and gardens, finding different creatures. We went on a Sunday and the weather was wonderful. We also visited the outdoor park
Highlights: We loved how much there is to do for the whole family. The views are absolutely stunning. "Erin loved running around and finding all of the different creatures there was." The outdoor park was probably the best park we've ever seen ✨
