What to expect
The Forest of Dean Adventure is a great place for families to visit, with various activities suitable for all age groups and abilities. The forest offers a Treetop Adventure course, designed for mini explorers over 1m tall and families looking for high ropes adventure. There's also a Treetop Challenge with epic zip lines for those aged 10 and 1.4m tall. Additionally, the forest has a Sculpture trail, a four-mile long walk featuring sculptures created by artists to interpret the Forest environment and history. Visitors can also explore the forest on foot, by bike, or on a steam train ride. For those looking for more adventure, there's an assault course, archery sessions, and a high ropes course. The forest is also home to Clearwell Caves, with nine show caverns to discover, and Forest Holidays, offering cozy cabins with underfloor heating, log burners, and outdoor hot tubs
