Botany Bay

Bay Broadstairs, England, United Kingdom

What to expect

Botany Bay is a picturesque bay with stunning views of white cliffs and beautiful chalk stacks. It's a great spot for fossil hunting and exploring rock pools when the tide is out, and offers plenty of exposed sand to enjoy when the tide is in. The bay is life-guarded during peak months and has been awarded an international Blue Flag status for its excellent water quality. The scenery is spectacular, making it a great spot for photography, particularly during sunset hours. There is a kiosk serving hot and cold drinks, ice creams, and beach favorites like hot dogs and chips. Deckchairs and parasols are also available to hire, and the beach is perfect for a leisurely swim, although the water can be chilly, even in summer months
