Cannon Hill Park

Cannon Hill Park is a 250-acre public park in south Birmingham, England, featuring formal, conservation, woodland, and sports areas. The park offers various recreational activities, including boating, fishing, bowls, tennis, and picnic areas. It is also home to the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Centre and the Midlands Arts Centre. The park has several notable features, such as a 1906 granite and bronze memorial to the dead of the Second Boer War, a 16th-century timbered house, and a scale model of the Elan Valley Reservoirs in a Japanese garden. The park hosts events like the free 5-kilometre parkrun and junior parkrun, as well as the Great Birmingham 10k and Great Birmingham Run half-marathon events
