What to expect
The Roald Dahl Children's Gallery is a children's museum that uses characters and themes from the books of Roald Dahl to stimulate children's interest in science, history, and literature. The museum features interactive exhibits, including James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr Fox, The BFG, and Miss Trunchbull & Willy Wonka. These exhibits allow children to explore and learn through hands-on activities, such as seeing a flea as big as their hand with a video microscope, crawling through Fantastic Mr Fox's tunnel, and using the BFG Super Hearing Machine. The museum's use of Quentin Blake's graphical elements adds to the Roald Dahl theme, making it an engaging and immersive experience for children
