The Corniche

The Corniche is a scenic waterfront area in Abu Dhabi, stretching 8 km along the western side of the main Abu Dhabi island. It features children's play areas, separate cycle and pedestrian pathways, restaurants, cafés, and the Corniche Beach. The beach is divided into sections, including areas for families and singles, and offers amenities such as showers, changing rooms, and cabanas. The Corniche is also home to several landmarks, including the Emirates Palace Hotel and the UAE flag, which is one of the tallest flagpoles in the world. Visitors can enjoy swimming, cycling, and walking along the promenade, which offers stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the Abu Dhabi skyline. The area is well-maintained and has been awarded the Blue Flag status, ensuring clean and safe seawater
