Cennet and Cehennem, also known as Heaven and Hell, are two large sinkholes in the Taurus Mountains, Mersin Province, Turkey. The Heaven Sinkhole is larger and can be descended into via a 452-step stone staircase, featuring a historical church built in the 5th century. The Hell Sinkhole is deeper but has a smaller opening and is not accessible. The site is of historical and mythological significance, with stories of Zeus and Typhon. The area is also home to a temple of Zeus and offers a cool, damp atmosphere, with opportunities to explore the caves and surrounding nature
