The Olba Aqueduct is a ruined Roman aqueduct located in Mersin Province, southern Turkey. It was built in 199 AD by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus and underwent repairs during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian I in 566 AD. The aqueduct is a double-tiered structure with a height of 25 meters and a length of 150 meters over a valley next to the city. It is mostly demolished, but a part of it can still be seen to the west of the agora ruins. The source of the watercourse is the Limonlu River, also known as the Lamas River, which is located around 8 kilometers to the northeast
