Çatalhöyük Neolitik Kenti is a significant archaeological site located in the Konya region of Turkey. The site consists of two mounds, East and West, with the East Mound dating back to 7400-6200 BC and featuring 18 Neolithic settlement layers. The site is notable for its unique architecture, with houses built adjacent to each other and no streets. The walls of the houses feature murals, reliefs, and sculptures are also found in the site, showcasing the social organization and artistic traditions of the Neolithic people. The West Mound, on the other hand, dates back to 6200-5200 BC and exhibits cultural characteristics of the Chalcolithic period. Çatalhöyük is an exceptional example of the transition from village to urban life, with a unique blend of cultural, artistic, and historical significance, earning it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2012
