The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations is a museum located in the Altındağ district of Ankara, Turkey. The museum showcases the history of Anatolia, with a collection of artifacts from the Paleolithic Age to the Ottoman period. The museum is housed in two historical buildings, the Mahmutpaşa Bedesten and Kurşunlu Han, which were restored and renovated in 2014. The museum offers virtual tours, animations, and replicas of artifacts, including those from Göbeklitepe. The museum is divided into sections, including the Paleolithic Age, Chalcolithic Age, Old Bronze Age, Assyrian Trade Colonies Age, and others. The museum was awarded the European Museum of the Year in 1997 and is one of the few museums in the world with unique collections. Visitors can also climb to the top of Ankara Castle and visit nearby attractions such as the Rahmi M. Koç Museum and the Erimtan Archeology and Art Museum
