Domaine Neferis

Domaine Neferis is a small estate winery located in the AOC of Sidi Salem, Tunisia. The winery is situated about 30km inland from the Mediterranean Sea, which helps in the pursuit of low-intervention winemaking. They use no herbicides or pesticides and focus on producing high-quality wines from grapes such as Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, Chardonnay, and Muscat. The winery is also home to Tunisia's only female winemaker. The area has a rich history dating back to the Phoenician and Roman eras, with the nearby city of Neferis playing an important role in the Third Punic War. The region was known for its wine production even in ancient times, with the hills of Neferis serving as a granary and wine cellar for Rome
