Mosque Sidi Oqba

The Mosque Sidi Oqba, also known as the Great Mosque of Kairouan, is a historic mosque located in Kairouan, Tunisia. It is one of the oldest and most important Islamic monuments in North Africa, and a model for all later mosques in the Maghreb. The mosque was founded by the Arab general Uqba ibn Nafi in 670 and has undergone several renovations and expansions over the centuries.
