Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park is a marine national park in the Gulf of Thailand, located in Surat Thani Province. The park covers 42 islands in a total area of 102 km², with about 50 km² being land and the rest water. The park was established on 12 November 1980 and is registered as a Ramsar site. The islands are composed of rugged and steep limestone hills, sinkholes, caves, and inland marine lakes. The park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the Ang Thong Lady's Slipper Orchid, an endemic species found only in the park. The park offers activities such as snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking, and is a popular destination for day-trips from nearby islands
