Old Sukhothai is a historic town in Thailand, filled with ancient ruins and historical sites that reflect the glorious civilization of the former capital. The town is home to the Sukhothai Historical Park, a World Heritage Site that covers the ruins of the old city, including the remains of the royal palace and twenty-six temples. Visitors can explore the park's many monuments, such as Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Phai Luang, and Wat Sisawai, and learn about the history and culture of the Sukhothai Kingdom. The town is also known for its beautiful marigold fields and its proximity to nature and the Lanna civilization. Families can enjoy watching marigold flowers in full bloom at Ban Pak Khwae Marigold Fields and exploring the surrounding countryside

Activities: We pedaled in the park and discovered the ancient city within the historical park, surrounded by a large wall. We rented bikes for the day, with a child seat in front or a seat for older children at the back. We could bring our picnic or buy food inside
Highlights: We loved the large, superb, and deserted temples, more or less in ruins, lost in the vegetation. It was ideal with the children by bike, on flat ground, and safe because cars are prohibited ✨
