Thapom Klong Song

Lake Krabi, Krabi, Thailand

What to expect

Tha Pom Klong Song Nam, also known as the 'Two Water Canal', is a natural area featuring a crystal-clear stream that mixes with seawater, creating an emerald color. The park has a raised wooden walkway that allows visitors to view the snaking roots of banyan trees beneath the glass-like water at low tide. The area is home to abundant mangrove and banyan trees, as well as a wide range of crabs and lizards. Visitors can walk along the walkway, which takes about 45 minutes to complete, and observe the different species of animals and plants that occupy this ecological system. The canal is a fascinating microcosm of Thailand's forest areas, with mangrove wetlands, fresh water swamp forest, and typical rain forest. Canoeing is also available, offering a silent and unparalleled access to the wildlife that inhabits the banks and waters of this unique water paradise
