Mu Ko Lanta National Park

National park Ko Lanta, Krabi, Thailand

What to expect

Mu Ko Lanta National Park is a national park in the southern part of Krabi Province, Thailand, consisting of several islands. The two largest islands are Ko Lanta Noi and Ko Lanta Yai. The park is home to nomadic sea gypsies called Chao Le, who are known for their traditions of setting boats adrift during the full moon in June and November to drive out evil and bring good luck. The park features white beaches, trails, islands, coral reefs, and viewpoints, as well as a variety of wildlife, including over 130 bird species, Sunda colugos, dugongs, and other mammals. There are also opportunities for diving and snorkeling to see tropical marine life in the coral reefs around the islands

Koh Lanta National Park: Mu Koh Lanta National Park
This family's experience:

Activities: We visited the Mu Ko Lanta National Park. We went on the short trekking trail and enjoyed the views from the lighthouse. We also took a dip at the beach in the park

Highlights: The views of the jungle-clad "walls" on either side of the road were amazing. We also loved the beach in the park! "The best view of the national park and the sea can be experienced from the hill where the lighthouse is located." ✨
