Wat Chiang Man is a Buddhist temple located in the old city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was built in 1296 by King Mangrai as the first temple of Chiang Mai and features a unique chedi with 15 life-sized brick-and-stucco elephants emerging from its base. The temple complex includes two viharns, an ubosot, and a Ho Trai, a scripture library. The temple houses several important Buddha images, including the Phra Sila and Phra Sae Tang Khamani, which are believed to have protective powers. The temple is also home to a lotus pond, a rare feature in Chiang Mai temples.
