Wat Lok Moli is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. The temple is home to a massive 16th-century chedi, which houses the ashes of several members of the Mengrai dynasty. The chedi is built on a large square base and features a number of layers rising in diminishing size, with a smooth mid-section and a rounded upper part. The temple also features a viharn, or assembly hall, which is made of teak and covered in black lacquer, with intricate carvings and a steeply pitched roof. The temple is aligned along a north-south axis and is adorned with finely sculptured Nāgas and wooden temple façade. Visitors can explore the temple grounds, which include several shrines and a large decorated gateway
