What to expect
Lumphini Park is a 360 rai park in Bangkok, Thailand, offering rare open public space, trees, and playgrounds in the Thai capital. The park contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats, and paths around the park totaling approximately 2.5 km in length are a popular area for morning and evening joggers. Cycling is permitted during the day, and there is a smoking ban throughout the park. Dogs are not allowed, except for certified guide dogs. The park is a multi-purpose park with many activities provided for citizens and tourists, including a playground, kayaking, paddle boating, stand-up paddleboarding, a lawn for yoga and aerobics, and exercise equipment. It is a great place for walking, running, and relaxing, with a variety of plants and animals, including monitor lizards, cats, birds, and fish

Highlights: The paddle boat ride was a real highlight! My son loved the boat and "immer wieder springen Fische aus dem trüben Wasser", the fish jumping out of the water. "Auf die Frage, was denn am schönsten war, antwortet der Sohn abends wie aus der Pistole geschossen: Das Tretbootfahren", when asked what was the best, my son answered immediately: the paddle boat ride ✨
