What to expect

Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo, as well as other animals such as giraffe, dik dik, impala, and olive baboon. The park is also home to more than 550 bird species and is a haven for bird enthusiasts. The park's landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river valley, and swamps, with a mix of Acacia woodland, Combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland, and baobab trees
