The Taipei Zoo, also known as the Muzha Zoo, is a public zoological garden located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is one of the largest zoos in Asia, covering an area of 165 hectares, with over 90 hectares open to the public. The zoo features various exhibits, including the Formosan Animal Area, which showcases animals indigenous to Taiwan, such as clouded leopards, Eurasian otters, and Formosan black bears. The Children's Zoo allows young guests to interact with domestic animals like alpacas, chickens, and pigs, as well as some wild animals like meerkats and raccoons. The zoo also has an Insectarium with a wide range of insect and arachnid species, and a butterfly garden.
