Taroko National Park is a national park located in Xiulin Township, Hualien County, Taiwan. The park is home to the Taroko Gorge, a breathtaking geological formation carved by the Liwu River. The park spans over 92,000 hectares and features unique geological and natural resources, including twenty-seven peaks over 3,000 meters. The park is also home to the Truku tribe, an indigenous group that originally resided in the upper region of the Zhuoshi river.
