Romainmôtier Abbey Church is one of the oldest Romanesque churches in Switzerland, built between 990 and 1028 according to the plans of Cluny church. The church is a jewel of the Nord vaudois region and hosts regular services and popular concerts, featuring a great contemporary organ. The surrounding area offers beautiful verdant surroundings and is part of the Parc naturel régional Jura vaudois, with opportunities for hiking and exploring typical villages. Nearby, the Maison du Prieur, a historic building with an impressive fireplace, can accommodate over 200 people for festivals and banquets
