Vidy is a scenic area in Lausanne, Switzerland, located on the shores of Lake Geneva. It features a sandy beach, volleyball and basketball courts, and small fine-sand beaches for a stroll. The area is shaded by magnificent oaks, making it perfect for a sunny day with nautical activities and a magnificent view over the Alps. In summer, the beach, park, and extensive grassy areas are among the most lively places on the lake, ideal for swimming, playing football, hiring a standup paddleboard or pedal boat, or taking a short jog surrounded by peaceful greenery.
