What to expect

Lac Léman, also known as Lake Geneva, is a breathtaking freshwater lake located in the heart of Europe, with stunning scenery and history. It is situated in the southwestern corner of Switzerland, on the northern shore of which lies the city of Lausanne, the capital of Vaud canton. Lausanne is a hilly city with a rich history, built on the southern slopes of the Jorat heights, and has a population of around 140,000 people. The lake has a range of beautiful scenic shore locations, including the cities of Montreux, Geneva, and Veytaux, and offers various activities and experiences, such as boat tours, scenic cruises, and water sports. The surrounding area is also known for its wine production, including the famous Lavaux vineyards, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
