The Brissago Islands are a small subtropical paradise on Lake Maggiore, featuring a botanical garden with around 2,000 plant species from the Mediterranean region, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Oceania. The islands offer a series of events, expositions, and conferences, and visitors can explore the botanical park, which covers an area of 25,000 square meters. The park includes a nature trail, a collection of medicinal herbs and crops, and a special section reserved for Mediterranean vegetation. Families can enjoy a treasure hunt, and children can discover the island through a treasure hunt called 'the search for lost flowers'. The islands also feature a Roman bath, a panoramic viewpoint, a thick reed grove, and a small beach. The botanical garden is partially accessible, and the boats are accessible to all persons with disabilities
