What to expect

The Espace Jean Tinguely - Niki de Saint Phalle is a magical place that pays tribute to the creativity of two great artists of the 20th century. The building, originally a tramway depot, now houses a collection of works by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, including Tinguely's 'Retable de l'Abondance occidentale et du Mercantilisme totalitaire' and de Saint Phalle's 'Remembering' reliefs. The Espace also features temporary exhibitions that showcase Swiss and foreign creators in dialogue with the works of Tinguely and de Saint Phalle. Visitors can discover the complex mechanics of Tinguely's machines and admire the beautifully shaped sculptures of de Saint Phalle. The Espace is a great place to visit with family and friends, with facilities for people with reduced mobility and guided tours available upon request
