Bachalpsee, also known as Bachsee, is a lake located in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland, near the city of Grindelwald. The lake has an area of 8.06 ha and is situated at an elevation of 2,265 m. It is split by a natural dam, with the smaller part of the lake being 6 m lower. The lake is known for its turquoise color and is a popular destination for hiking and picnicking. The trail to the lake is relatively easy and takes about 1 hour to complete. The lake is also family-friendly, with nearby amenities such as a playground and activities like mountain scooters and zip lines. The lake's beauty is often captured in photos, but its radiance can only be fully appreciated in person
