What to expect

Vitlycke Museum is a visitor center for the rock carvings at Vitlycke and the World Heritage Site. The museum features an exhibition about the Bronze Age in the Tanum area, the European connection of the rock carvings, and how we gain knowledge about the carvings. On the site, there is the Bronze Age Farm, a reconstructed settlement at a 1:1 scale. The museum offers guided tours and educational programs for schools, and during the summer, daily guided tours are organized at the Vitlycke Rock Carving and various activities are conducted for children and adults at the Bronze Age Farm. The museum also has a gift shop and a café. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed inside the museum
