Lighthouse

Grundsund is a locality situated in Lysekil Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It is located in the middle of Bohuslän's outer coastal strip, 25 km south of the municipal seat of Lysekil and 40 km west of Uddevalla. The community is built partly on Skaftölandet and partly on Ösö, and it is named after the shallow inlet, now known as Grundsund Canal, that separates the two islands from each other. Grundsund has a history dating back to at least the 17th century as a fishing village, and it experienced blooming periods during the 19th century due to good fishing. Today, the industry is gone, and only two fishing boats remain. The TV series Saltön is mostly recorded in Grundsund, which has attracted tourists to the area. Nearby, there is the Hättan lighthouse, which is a notable landmark in the region
