Islandsberg is a barren and almost treeless area, located on the southernmost cape of Skaftö in Grundsund, Sweden. The area consists of gneiss with a large amount of mica and offers a magnificent view of the archipelago. A path leads towards the cape and the old lighthouse on the mighty cliff, which provides a great spot for taking in the views. The old lighthouse was built in 1883 and was in use until 1938. Visitors can explore the area and enjoy the scenic views, but should note that the lighthouse is now a privately owned summer house and access may be restricted. The hiking trail to Islandsberg is approximately 2.7 km one way and takes about 2 hours to complete, with a moderate level of difficulty
