Skansen Kronan is a 17th-century fortification located on the hill Risåsberget in the Haga district of Gothenburg, Sweden. The fort was built to protect the city of Gothenburg against possible Danish attack and features a unique octagonal design with 7-meter thick walls made of granite, gneiss, and diabase. Today, Skansen Kronan is used as a venue for conferences and private parties, offering a historic and scenic setting. The fort has been recognized as a listed building since 1935 and is a notable example of Sweden's military history
