Mårbacka is a manor house and memorial estate dedicated to the life and work of Selma Lagerlöf, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. The estate features the original furniture, fittings, and paintings from Selma Lagerlöf's time, as well as a beautiful garden created by her and horticulturist Ruth Brandberg. Visitors can take a guided tour of the main building and explore the garden, which includes a variety of bushes, shrubs, fruit trees, and flower plantations.
