What to expect
Tyresta National Park is a wilderness realm located 20 km from Sweden's capital city, offering a unique experience for visitors. The park features a large area of ancient forest, with thick, knotty pines and towering spruce trees, as well as glittering lakes and a variety of unique plants and animals. Visitors can explore the park's 55 km of walking trails, pick berries, or swim in one of the lakes. The park also has a café and a farm shop, and exhibits at Naturum, which is shaped like a map of Sweden and characterized by its eco-friendliness and natural materials

Activities: We visited Tyresta National Park, one of the largest untouched forest areas in Sweden outside the mountain region. "The area has one of the finest virgin forests south of the mountain region."
Highlights: We really enjoyed the "cozy nature trail". There were eleven spots with a numbered post where there was something extra to do or think about, such as a spider web to climb and a treasure chest ✨

Activities: We went on a hike through the ancient forests of Tyresta National Park. It was a tranquil escape from the city, with beautiful trails and a dedicated path for baby strollers
Highlights: We loved the peace and tranquility of the forest. The children enjoyed exploring the nature trails and spotting wildlife, including squirrels and rabbits ✨
