What to expect

The Vasa Museum is a maritime museum showcasing the world's best-preserved seventeenth-century ship, the Vasa. The ship, which sank on its maiden voyage in 1628, has been restored to its original glory and is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures. Visitors can view the ship from six levels, from its keel to the top of the sterncastle, and explore various exhibits related to its history and archaeological findings. The museum also features a movie theater, a museum shop, and a restaurant serving Swedish cuisine. Children under 18 years old can enter for free, making it a great place to visit with family
