Plan your family visit to the Junibacken with these blog insights 👇

Activities: We visited Junibacken, a museum featuring Astrid Lindgren's stories. We took the Sagotåget, a train that goes through many of Astrid Lindgren's stories, and spent time in Pippi's house
Highlights: The museum is finely arranged, the food is great, the train is fantastic, but it's also crowded, has very little Astrid Lindgren and is a bit small ✨

Activities: We visited Junibacken with our 6-year-old kids and they had a blast. We watched a theater performance, played in Pippi's candy store, and rode the Sagotåget train
Highlights: The kids loved the Mumindalen area, Sagotåget, and the play areas. The parents enjoyed the restaurant and the beautiful views ✨

Activities: We visited Junibacken, a museum dedicated to Astrid Lindgren's works, and explored its various exhibits, including the Enchanted Train, Fifi Brindacier's house, and the Storybook Square
Highlights: The kids had a blast playing in the interactive exhibits, and we enjoyed discovering the world of Swedish children's literature ✨

Activities: We went to Junibacken, a place where you really get to jump into the world of stories. We visited the new Moomin Valley exhibit. "Here you can sail to sea, joke on the theater stage and be surprised by everything else that pops up in the valley."
Highlights: My son, who had just turned 5, and one of his best friends had a great time. "The best thing now is that you book a time, then there are not so many people at the same time." We enjoyed the "play space for the children." ✨

Activities: We went to Junibacken, located on Djurgården. We played in the Moomin play area and enjoyed the outdoor stage where they play Jan Lööf's classic 'The Tale of the Red Apple'. We also visited Moomin Valley, where the kids played indoors. "Now it was fun that they had fixed up this big Moomin playground in their nice garden."
Highlights: The kids absolutely loved the Moomin play area! They especially enjoyed the six-meter-high slide from the Moomin house, playing in the giant shell, going on underwater adventures with the Haffs Orchestra, and taking a coffee break with Moominmamma and Moominpappa. It's a place "right in the middle of the fairytale world" ✨

Activities: We visited Junibacken, a magical place for young children, where you can step into storybooks, and play in colourful make-believe worlds
Highlights: My son, who had just finished reading Lauren Child’s beautifully illustrated version of the book, adored it all ✨
