Stora Gatan

Sigtuna is a city with a rich history, founded in 970 CE by King Erik Segersäll, making it Sweden's first city. The city has a lot to offer, including Sigtuna's Museum, which features the history of the city, including its founding and development over time. Visitors can also explore Sigtuna's City Hall, which is Sweden's smallest city hall, and walk through Sweden's oldest pedestrian street, Stora Gatan, which still has the same path it had in 970 CE. The city's main square, Stora torget, has been located at the same spot since the 1600s and has witnessed the passing of time over the city.
