Kanaanbadet is a family-friendly swimming area with two nice beaches in northern Stockholm. It features large lawns, swings, a diving tower, outdoor showers, and toilets. The café Kanaan serves ice cream, fika, and lighter refreshments. The beach is a part of the Grimsta nature reserve and is located by the lake Mälaren. It's a popular place to go for people living west of Stockholm and is often crowded on hot summer days. There is also a mini golf court and a small diving tower. Sweden's first youth center was opened here in 1933 and during World War II, it was a standby station for officers

Activities: We went to Kaananbadet. The kids played in the sand, built sandcastles, and swam in the water. We had a picnic on the beach. "We hung out mostly down at the shoreline where the boys swam and built sandcastles."
Highlights: We really liked this place. It's a calm, pleasant, and fresh beach. The children were so happy! "My little Pippi-loving son was completely ecstatic when we got to see this cute little family of ducks." ✨
