Ale's Stones is a megalithic monument and one of Sweden's most popular attractions, located on a plateau above the cliffs near the fishing village Kåseberga. The monument is over 1,400 years old and consists of 59 vertically arranged stones in the shape of a ship hull, 67 meters long and 19 meters wide. The stones are positioned in a way that the sun sets at the north-western corner in summer and rises exactly at the opposite corner in winter. Visitors can enjoy the stunning views of the Baltic Sea and the rolling landscape, and kids can use their imagination to come up with their own theories about the purpose of the stones. A dramatized sound walk is also available, which combines a fictional story with facts about the monument's creation
